This A4 sized piece was semi-serious. The line, a favourite by Samuel Beckett from his play 'The Unnameable', was chosen months prior to doing the piece, but on the day the essence of the quote felt grimly accurate; work overload, Christmas overload, family anxieties - all I wanted to do was go back to bed!
 
These original, one-off ink pieces of art were created on a daily basis from my Inkvent Calendar in December 2025, a countdown to Christmas containing 25 newly-created coloured inks found behind every window. 

Each piece is signed, dated and embossed.

A portion of all proceeds from the sale of these pieces is donated to The Trussell Trust, the UK's food bank network.

Please note I no longer offer prints of these pieces, only originals. This is because they increasingly have special metallic or otherwordly finishes that can't be reproduced as well as I'd like in print. However, if you really want one of a particular piece, you can ask me for a custom order.
