Information on shipping to the United States due to changes in U.S. Tariffs & Regulations
updated March 2026
In Summer 2025 a US presidential order stated that shipments containing goods imported for consumption will no longer be eligible for 'De Minimis Rules' and any parcel to the US will be subject to tariffs.
Many of my collectors and customers have been buying my creations from the US for years, and I'll keep selling happily to the US. I have zero control over the tariffs, though. This is a situation that appears to change frequently, therefore I'll update this page, and our approach, as often as is necessary!
So or all orders destined for the United States, please keep the following in mind when you order:
1. Royal Mail now adds customs and import duties when I book postage. Those are determined at the point of buying the postage, so I'll contact you for any additional fees that might be due before committing to buying the postage - I'll send a payment link.
2. Please be aware that delivery delays may occur.
3. Please retain shipping information such as the name of shipping company and tracking number provided. If you don't have it, please ask. I keep shipping info for all orders. If you have any questions about the whereabouts of your parcel, please contact the shipping company or customs authorities.
4. Please note that neither I nor my shop system has any way of calculating or guesstimating customs duties in advance - this is solely done by Royal Mail!
5. If you do get additional charges applied but refuse to pay them (and it is your right to do so!) there is a possibility that you won't receive your package. In this case, the package will be returned to me but I'm not able to issue a refund for the product and shipping fees. If you request a redelivery, I ask you to charge the reshipment fee. (In some cases, the shipping company or U.S. Customs may dispose of the package).
6. If you forget to pay or are unaware of any customs duties, the package may be returned to the shop after the storage period expires. In this case, I'm not able to issue a refund for the product and shipping fees. I can try and send it to you a second time, but a redelivery plus possible repackage fee will be charged for returned items (in some cases, the shipping company may dispose of the package).
Any worries or questions? Get in touch.
I work with customers in virtually every time zone, so you shouldn't have to wait too long for a reply.
